Ponticello was arguably one of the hardest working bands on the road in the years between 1995 and 2003.(Ted Russel Kamp- bass/vocals, Chris Murphy- violin/mandolin and Sean Shacklett - drums)When David recognized a compatible musicality with these players, he hired them to be his studio and touring band for nearly two years. In the breaks of David’s rigorous touring schedule the band still recorded their own projects, in this case with David’s friend, producer Gregg Williams(Sheryl Crow, Dandy Warhols). They invited David to sing backing vocals.
